Skincare and Body Moisturizers.

I have totally been on a skincare kick recently. I’ve read so many posts from other blogs about how important it is, as damage is accumulative, so it’s best if I start now…

I don’t have an extensive routine. I cleanse twice a day, exfoliate in the shower, add toner, and always slather on some moisturizer, then a BB cream with at least SPF 15. Grabbing a moisturizing sunscreen is on my next retail therapy list, and I have developed a habit of occasionally rummaging through Mom’s table with a keen eye for the things she doesn’t use, mostly gift set bottles… then asking if I can take them!

On the other hand, I’m not really into makeup. I don’t use eyeliner often as I rub my eyes when I let my guard down, especially on school mornings. On the other hand, I have lots of lip crayons… But that’s for another post!

The skincare kick started about two weeks ago, and I’m beginning to see improvements with my skin, the biggest being noticeable acne. Hopefully I can keep this up until I’m 30.

Anyway, recently I have been going on and on about body butters and creams and lotions… So I think it’s time I showed you some.

This one smells divine.
This one smells divine: Boots Body Butter in Cocoa
Me trying to make more of an effort with the photography. My windowsill has great natural lighting. The yellow tub is nSpa’s lemon souffle body cream.
These have less natural smells and more perfume-y scents. Still lovely though. Dove Silky Body Cream and The Body Shop’s White Musk Libertine Body Lotion.

If you don’t want to get any yourself, wait until Christmas… All of these body things I have were Christmas gifts from friends! I never thought I would be bothered to use them until recently.
However, these brands aren’t pricey, so if you want to self-indulge, go ahead! It won’t leave more than a dent in your purse.
